Youngstown: Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30am in the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in Sacred Heart Church for Bernard T. Scott, 75, formerly of Campbell, who passed away Monday evening at the Omni Manor Nursing Home.
Bernard was born April 9, 1934 in Youngstown, the son of Addison T. and Donna J. Standish Scott.
He was retired from The Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Brier Hill Division; he loved going to bingo, playing cards, the lottery and enjoyed his coffee from McDonalds.
He will be sadly missed by his three sisters, his twin Bernadine (Lester) Line of Hagerstown, MD, Elaine (Jim) Zagorsky of Boardman and Donna (Joe) Zagorsky of Poland; one brother Doug (Linda) Scott of Youngstown; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Caroline (Scott) Morris, and Lucille Millich and two brother-in-laws, Joe Morris and Pete Millich.
The Scott family would like to thank the Omni Manor Nursing Home Staff for the care Bernard was given.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that monetary donations be made to help defray the cost of the funeral.
The Scott family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8pm.
