Campbell……Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Hunt officiating for Christina M. Thomas, 38 who passed away Monday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Tina was born Oct. 14, 1971 in Youngstown the daughter of Dominic and Leora Harvey Thomas and was a life long area resident of Campbell.
She was a 1990 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and graduated with Honors from Penn Ohio College in 1994 as a Medical Transcriber.
She was the President of the Campbell Youth Soccer program for fourteen years.
Tina leaves to cherish her memory her son Johnathan; her father Dominic and step-mother Charlene, all of Campbell; her mother, Leora and sister Rebecca of Boardman; her brother Dominic Jr. (Nicole) Thomas and nephews, John, Christopher and Dominic III Thomas all of Campbell; step-brothers, Robert (Carry) Rischpater and Thomas (Kristen) Rischpater and step-sisters, Melissa (William) Vargas and Shannon (Lance) Costello.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Christy Thomas and Elizabeth “Liza” Sedor and Eranest and Marie Harvey.
The Thomas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8pm.

I am so sorry to hear about Christina, I cant even put into words my sarrows for you.
To everyone who loved Christina. She was my best friend and i will greatly miss her. She was the nicest person anyone could ever know, she loved everyone and everyone loved her. sShe would do anything for any one she new and even if she didn’t now. She loved her family so much ,especially her son Johnathon who she was so proud of ,the one thing she wanted to do most was to see her son grow into a fine young man and she did and that made her happier than anything . After 20+ years of friendship, we finally got to be real sisters like we always wanted! I’ll miss you deeply but I know you’ll be around me…you always said you would. I love you T!
I meet Tina in 1994 at Penn Ohio college, she was a great freind who I will love and miss more than u know! She was so proud of her son she did everything for him! I will cherish all of my memories of her and I know she is in peace and is my angel! I love you Tina!

You would have never known Tina was sick over the last 15 years or so… she never showed it. She was the most pleasant, fun-loving and caring woman I know.
