Dominic J. Monaco, 91
Campbell: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00am at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville with his son the Rev. Don Scott Monaco officiating, for Dominic J. Monaco, 91 who passed away Monday morning in the Hospice House.
Dominic was born March 19, 1918 in Bridgeport, Ohio, the son of Matthew and Anna Pratt Monaco.
He was a 1936 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to graduate from Kent State University in 1942 with a BS in Education and from West Minister with a Masters in Education and a certificate in Guidance.
He retired from Campbell Memorial High School as a Guidance Counselor.
He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church and the retired Teachers Association.
His wife the former Mary Ann Putko, whom he married on July 28, 1943, passed away on May 2, 1994.
Dominic leaves to cherish his memory his children, Starr (Bill) Huston of Poland, Deborah (Henry) Miller of Campbell and Don Scott (Linda) of Boardman; 4 grandchildren, Starr Jones, Dominique Huston, Joel Monaco and Jared Monaco; 1 great-grandson Cameron Jones; a brother John Rega and a sister Rose Scarfo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ann, and a brother Michael Monaco.
The Monaco family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and at the families request there will be no calling hours.

Debbie you & your family have my sympathy. I will always remember his smile & soft spoken voice when we went to the guidance office. May he rest in peace.
