A very proud Campbell native Eddie and his wife of 58 years, Loretta (Barbus) Such who passed away May 2, 2008 lived a good Christian life.
He was an elder for the Hungarian American Reformed Church and a very active member.
Eddie was a retiree from Sheet and Tube by most remembered from Roosevelt Park.  He loved the park, anxiously waiting for Mayor Dill to call so he could get started on the grass.  He took so much pride in keeping our park and baseball fields beautiful.
Eddie was involved with many baseball teams as a coach or manager, from church groups to area leagues, to playing with his own sons, and then coaching his grandson, but his heart was on the football field.  He was a devoted member to the Campbell Grid Iron Club.  He coached his grandson from the Little Red Devils all the way up to the Campbell Memorial High School team.  Eddie loved Campbell sports and was Campbell’s number one fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his three children, Diana (John) Waring, Ed (Lynn) Such and Mark (Geri) Such all of Campbell; 12 grandchildren, Robbie, Heather, Ed III (Carrie), Chrissy (George), Amy, Karri (Monty), Devin, Mark, Amanda, Amber, Sarah and Allyson; great-grandchildren Rob Jr., Dennis, Sheyla, Eddie IV, Ian, Mackenzie, Savannah, Gabriella, Landen, Emily and Lukas; a sister, Viola Stalnaker; a brother-in-law, Robert (Uncle Bob) Spin and a sister-in-law, Pauline Such.

Eddie has a way of always putting a smile on your face and will be greatly missed and loved always.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for all their loving, wonderful, supportive care.
The Such family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday evening from 4-7pm.

The family of Eddie Such: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss.
Eddie was such a kind and gentle man, I worked at Bank One in downtown and spent many years knowing this wonderful man. We used to have coffee in the downstairs area every morning before we started the day.
I know that the world lost a little brightness, but he is with God now and we are all blessed to have had him in our lives.
May God Bless you all.
