Frank Turscak, 88
North Lima: Frank Turscak, 88 formerly of Campbell and Youngstown, passed away Friday evening April 16, 2010 at 6:20pm at Caprice Health Care Center. He was taken to Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. Mr. Turscak was born Sept. 25, 1921 in Campbell the son of Thomas and Anna Glavica Turscak.
He graduated Memorial High School. He was a World War II Army veteran who was medically discharged after a motorcycle accident. He was a mechinist for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube-Mckay machine Shop in Youngstown also a machinist there. He was a devout Catholic and was very fond of Sts. Peter and Paul in Youngstown.
he is survivied by ex-wife June Flaherty of Poland, Ohio; five sons, Frank Turscak of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ronald Turscak of Columbus, Ohio, John Turscak of Las Vegas, Nev., Kenneth Turscak of Akron, Ohio, David Turscak of Clearwater, Fla.; a daughter Carol Ann Gromada of Boardman, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Andrew, Steve, john, George, Paul and a daughter Diane Marie of Poland, Ohio.
There will be no calling hours or viewing.
Frank will be cremated and ashes will be hand carried by his son Kenneth James to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270.
In lieu of flowers, etc., please help defray funeral expenses by sending a check to Wasko Funeral Home, 216 Coitsville Rd., Cambpell, Ohio 44405 and state in comments section, for cremation of Frank George Furscak.
