Wasko Funeral Home

Youngstown:  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12:00pm in the Wasko Funeral Home for Isabelo H. Torres, 82 who passed away Thursday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Isabelo was born Nov. 5, 1927 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, the son of Cornelius and Adelina Hernandez Nunez.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked in the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Briar Hill Division as a Forklift Operator for 31 years.
Isabelo was a member of the Sons of Boriquen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Sonia Padilla, whom he married on Jan. 4, 1958; his children, Margie Torres of Austintown, Michael Torres of South Carolina, Jenny Torres of Campbell, Sonia VanCobb of Nevada and Ramonita Torres of Liberty and two sisters, Victoria Lugo of Puerto Rico and Georgina Jimenez of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Pedro Vasquez and two grandsons, Ramon Smith and Lucas Torres.
The Torres family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday morning from 11am to 12:00 noon.
