John A. Luc, 60

 

Campbell:  Funeral services will be held 7pm Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Metzger officiating for John A. Luc, 60 who passed away Friday morning in Alleghany General Hospital.
John was born March 14, 1950 in Youngstown, the son of Matthew and Rose Tear Luc.
He was a 1968 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School; he retired with over 30 years of service from WCI Steel as a machinist.
John was a member of Victory Christian Center.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Charlotte Garchar whom he married on Nov. 6, 1972; one son, John M. Luc; three daughters, Christine Luc, Aimee (Sean) Gooch and Jennifer Luc; three grandchildren, Alexander, Nixon and Xeira all of Campbell and brothers and sisters, Rosella (Cookie) (Richard) Tekac of Pulaski, Pa., Matthew (Marsha) Luc, Gary (Sharon) Luc both of Coitsville and Linda (Michael) Bobic of Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Luc family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday evening from 4-7pm.

I will surely miss John.  I felt he was a good friend and a great coworker.  He was also one of my fellow VietNam War Veterans and he is gone to soon.  My condolences to his family and freinds.
