Wasko Funeral Home

Columbia Falls, MONT: John Popa, Sr., husband, father and friend was collected by angels July 21, 2010 to rest peacefully in his new heavenly home. 
John was born Dec. 6, 1924 in Campbell the son of Vasilie and Anna Popa.
In his career he worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Steel Mill and the Singer Sewing Machine Co.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, the former Lucretia “Lucy” Budak; three daughters; one son and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Ann Dobrich.
“You left us with great memories, admiration for your ever sharp thinking and quick wit, and a warm place in our hearts where we will always find you.  We know you are the angel with a gin martini and lobster dinner celebrating a good life!”
The Popa family has entrusted the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
