Campbell:  Funeral services will be held 9:30am Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10:00am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for John L. Novacich, 93 who passed away Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
John was born July 31, 1917 in Campbell the son of Matthew and Theresa Lullich Novacich.
He was a life long area resident of Campbell and life long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
He was employed by The Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. for 37 years, where he worked in the Hot Strip Mill Maintenance Dept.
John enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, shopping, following professional sports and most of all spending time with his family.
A very generous, kind and loving husband and father, John will be sadly missed by his wife of 70 years, the former Ann Sklenchar; two sons, Kenneth (Andrea) of Belleville, Pa and Jerry (Linda) of North Canton; one daughter, Jean (Frank) Farkas of Austintown; eight grandchildren, Ken, Karen, Larry, Brian, Nancy, Katie, Jeff and Greg and ten Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Loboy and Barbara Famor and three brothers, Nick, Steve and Matthew.
The Novacich family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 4-6pm.
