Campbell: Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday at the Wasko Funeral Home with Pastor William Rotar officiating for Joseph E. Evans, 48 who passed away Thursday morning.
Joseph was born Jan. 31, 1962 in Youngstown the son of Ritchard and Patricia Rainey Evans.
Joseph spent his childhood days and attended school in Poland,
He started roofing homes and businesses in his early 20’s, and then moved to Boca Rotan, Fla. to continue working in the Roofing Industry.
Joseph returned to Campbell when he was 32 and was the neighborhood grass man, he would cut many yards throughout the city of Campbell.
He loved his three dogs and helping others.  “Joe might only own a few shirts, but he would give one away if another person needed one.”
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Patricia from Campbell; brothers, Ritchard (Jean) Evans of Youngstown and William Evans of Campbell; a sister Sharon (Bill) Valentino of Campbell; one Uncle, Bill Rainey of Campbell and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Ritchard Evans; brothers, David and Samuel and his step-father Charles Christopher.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that monetary donations be made to help defray the funeral expenses.
The Evans family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8pm, Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
