Margaret M. Sepsy, 85

Campbell:  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 11:30am at St. John Catholic Church for Margaret M. Sepsy, 85 who passed away Sunday morning.
Margaret was born July 23, 1924 in Campbell, the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Hunora Sepsy, and was a life long area resident of Campbell.
She was a 1942 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. During WWII she supported troops by working at McKenzie Muffler.
For over 30 years she was employed as a packer in the meat department for Sparkle Market and various grocery stores in the Lincoln Knolls Plaza.  She also worked at S.H. Kress Five and Dime Store.  Margaret retired in the late 1980’s.
Margaret was a house mother at The Florence Crittnon Home for Unwed Mothers in the 1970’s and volunteered at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital for 5 years.
She was a member of the church; was a founding member and past president of the Legion of Mary, the Infant Guild and the Altar and Rosary society; she was also a member of the 880 Local Union Retires Club.
Margaret was a gentle, kind and compassionate woman who visited thousands of nursing home residents and home bound people over the years; she was a virtuous woman who always had a positive attitude to share with others.  She loved to travel and visited all of the U.S. States, Canada, England, Australia, Europe and traveled two times to Czechoslovakia. She was an avid reader and supporter of the library.
Margaret was deeply loved by her family and leaves her sister Betty Serroka of Campbell with whom she made her home since 1956; a niece Kim Hudy Serroka of Liberty Twp.; a great niece, Kristin Serroka Garesche`  of Arlington, VA; a great-nephew, Paul David Serroka of Glen Ellen, VA; Dennis Gura of Campbell and her cat Kiki.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Paul; her brother in law Walter Serroka who passed away in Nov. of 2006 and her beloved godson and nephew David Serroka who passed away in Aug. of 2006
The family requests that any donations be made to The Beautitude House or the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Margaret’s name.
The Sepsy family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9-11am.
