Margaret Masajlo, 79
Campbell: Funeral services will be held 10:30am Tuesday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 11am in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Marks officiating, for Margaret Masajlo, 79 who passed away Tuesday evening.
Margaret was born June 22, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Mary Zifchak Orlovsky.
She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
She enjoyed working bingo in the kitchen at the Byzantine Center and working the fish fry’s for the church. She was very involved at Byzantine Catholic Central School when her children were growing up. She also enjoyed playing bingo, going to Mountaineer and going to Las Vegas.
Margaret loved teaching her grandchildren to bake, they were the light of her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael of 54 years whom she married on July 9, 1955; her children, Nancy (George) Gasper of Boardman, Barbara (Stephen) Jaszek of Powell, OH., Michael (Linda) Masajlo of Pleasenton, Ca., and Ronald (Sheri) Masajlo of Powell, Oh.; grandchildren, Macy, Malory and Max Masajlo of Pleasenton, Ca., Nicole and Adam Masajlo of Powell, OH., Jennifer Jaszek of Powell, OH., and George Gasper of Boardman; three brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Orlovsky of Campbell, Thomas (Gerry) Orlovsky of Poland and Richard Orlovsky of Austintown, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Lawrence Orlovsky, Michael Orlofski and John Orlovsky.
The family would like to thank the nurses and aides in the Orange Wing at Caprice for being so caring to Margaret.
The Masajlo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends from 5-8pm Monday evening where there will be a 7:00pm Parastas.

Marge had spunk and said it like she meant it. She gave me cookie dough several years ago to make her clothespin cookies. Needless to say, I did not conquer the task, but appreciated her sharing the recipe. I will remember her laugh and her delicious cookies.
