Marjorie Dubaj, 84
Boardman: Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9am at the Wasko Funeral Home and 9:30am in St. Matthias Church in Youngstown, for Marjorie Dubaj, 84 who passed away Monday morning in Shepard of the Valley Nursing Home.
Marjorie was born July 10, 1925 in Cape Charles, Va., the daughter of Paul and Louise Townsend White.
Before moving to Ohio, she worked as a secretary for the Mayor of Cape Charles then transferred to Fort Custis doing office work during WWII. After her marriage she moved to Youngstown and worked for over 17 years for Dr. Maker, Sr.
She was a member of both St. Matthias and Poland United Methodist Church’s; the Golden Echoes for Senior’s with her husband at St. Matthias Church and bowled in the Poland United Methodist Mixed Doubles with her husband.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Paul Jr. of 65 years, whom she married on Aug. 19, 1944; a son Robert; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary; two brothers, Eugene (Laura) of Berryville, Va., and Dr. David (Denise) of Richmond, Va.; one sister Pauline of Cape Charles, Va.; three grandchildren, Michelle of San Diego, Ca., Melissa of Youngstown and Gina (Jeff) Keeley of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and one great-grandchild, Gavin of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Paul III and a brother in law, Dick.
The Dubaj family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8pm.
