Marta F. Pollander, 80

 

Arnold, Maryland:  Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Campbell for Marta F. Pollander, 80 who passed away Sunday afternoon at her home.
Marta was born June 16, 1930 in Campbell, the daughter of Anthony and Helen Lisko Copp and was a life long area resident of Campbell until moving to Maryland.
She was a 1948 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was employed as a realtor with a leasing agency in Austintown.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic and St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Churches. 
Marta was an artist who painted many water colors.
Her husband, John G. Pollander whom she married on Sept. 24, 1952 passed away on July 19, 2005.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Barbara (Tim) DeSalvo of Cincinnati, Lisa (Ramon) Garrett of Fr. Myers, Fla. and Thomas (Candy) Pollander of Maryland and her grandchildren, Amanda and Austin Pollander and Josiah Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John who passed away in 2005, a son John Jr. who passed away in 1979 and a brother Thomas Copp.
The Pollander family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm.
