Wasko Funeral Home

Youngstown:  Funeral services will be held 9:30am Tuesday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. John Catholic Church for Mary A. Gresko, 83 who passed away Saturday morning at Park Vista.
Mary was born Dec. 7, 1926 in Campbell, the daughter of Steve and Mary Dzatko Gresko and was a life long area resident.  She formerly lived on Tremble Ave. and Princess Street in Campbell.
She was a 1945 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and than went on to graduate from Youngstown Business College.
Mary was a member of the church.  She was a bookkeeper for Super Laundry and Hotel Ohio.  She later became a bookkeeper for the City of Campbell’s finance department, retiring in the late 1980’s.
She loved knitting and crocheting, her pet cat “Alley”, and most of all her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her niece Anna Marie Gresko and nephew John Gresko, Jr., whom were her caretakers; a nephew Donald (Peggy) Gresko of Youngstown and a nephew Kenneth (Ann) Gresko of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 10 great nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Irene Gresko; 3 brothers, Michael (Agnes) Gresko, Steve (Ann) Gresko, and John (Carolyn) Gresko and a niece Virginia Gresko Lyden.
The Gresko family would like to thank the management and staff of Park Vista for the wonderful care given to Mary.
The Gresko family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7pm.
