Mary A. Loboy, 93
Campbell: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9:30am at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10:00am in Holy Trinity Catholic Church for Mary A. Loboy, 93 who passed away Sunday morning in St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mary was born April 12, 1916 in Campbell, the daughter of Matthew and Theresa Lullich Novacich.
Besides being a homemaker, Mary worked in the cafeteria at Northside Hospital for many years. She also worked as a caterer for various catering companies in the area. Mary last worked at George’s Rest. in Struthers, retiring at the age of 83.
She was a member of the church, the Croatian Club of Campbell and the Campbell Seniors Group. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She especially enjoyed baking and making home cooked meals for her family and friends.
Her husband Joe whom she married in September 1940 passed away in July 1970.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son Douglas (Virginia) Loboy of Struthers; a daughter Marie (Charles) Grachanin of Bessemer, Pa.; five grandchildren, Dawn Marie, David, Joe, Deana and Mary; four great-grandchildren, Hudson, Sofia, Jack and Isabella and a brother John Novacich of Campbell.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Famor and three brothers Nick, Steve and Matthew Novacich.
The Loboy family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends from 5-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Our thought and prayer are with you. I spoke with your father in August when he was writing a story on the Youngstown connection at Lourdes College here in Toledo. I was struck by his care and concern for all things Campbell and Youngstown, The conversation made me miss home very much. What a good and caring man he was.
