Campbell:  Funeral services will be held 10am Friday in Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church for Michael E. Patellis, 86 who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday after a short illness.
Michael was born Nov. 19, 1923 in Campbell the son of Economus and Diana Atsas Patellis.
He was a member of the church; he worked as a millwright at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Campbell Works for 35 years and was very active for several years with the Mahoning Valley Boy Scout Council.
His beloved wife of 56 years, the former Violet Kosich, passed away on September 5, 2000.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son and daughter-in-law, Charles M. and Jeanne Patellis of Parkman; a grandson, Christopher Patellis of Parkman; a granddaughter, Rebekah Griffiths of Lakewood; two sisters, Stacia Allinos and Thelma Capuzello and a brother, Peter Patellis, all of Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
The Patellis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:00pm and Friday morning from 9:30-10am at the church.
