Campbell: Funeral services will be held 9:30am Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. John Church Catholic Church for Pauline Rish, 89, who passed away Thursday afternoon in her home with her family by her side.
Pauline was born June 29, 1920 in Campbell the daughter of Godfrey and Katherine Palajsa Zugcic.
She was a member of the church and it’s Ladies Guild, Altar and Rosary Society and Infant of Prague Guild. Pauline was employed by the Diocese of Youngstown, working at St. John and Sacred Heart Churches as a housekeeper for 25 years.
Her husband Steve Rish whom she married on Nov. 18, 1940 passed away on April 23, 1965.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Roberta (Mike) Novello of Liberty, Paul (Kathy) Rish of Austintown, Raymond (Donna) Rish of Cortland and Steve (JoAnne) Rish of North Carolina; one brother Phillip Zugcic of Campbell; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers Peter and Joseph Zugcic.
The family requests that any donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, Humility of Mary Health Partners, 5190 Market St.,Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
The Rish family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm.
