Raymond F. Treharne, 59
Struthers: Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 8:00pm in the Wasko Funeral Home with Fr. Nicholas Shori officiating for Raymond F. Treharne, 59 who passed away Monday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Raymond was born September 18, 1950 in Youngstown the son of Firl H. and Ethel Hixson Treharne.
He was a 1969 graduate of Jackson Milton High School. He was employed at Safety Tire in Canfield as a Shop/Tire Man for truck and car tires.
He was a member of the Western Reserve Modular Railroad Club and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Georgia Gibbs whom he married on Nov. 16, 1973; six children, Jackie Ann (Joe) Vinopal, Elaine (Luke) Runge, Mindy (Naser) Alwanni, Adam (Mandy) Treharne, Juwan Treharne and Ashley Treharne; 4 granddaughters, Kaitlyn Katcher, Samantha Vinopal, Paige Treharne and Lexie Treharne and a sister, Linda Bumgardner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Richard A. Treharne and a sister Carolyn Treharne.
In lieu of flowers the family request that monetary donations be made to the Wasko Funeral Home.
Raymond’s family would like to especially thank all the doctors and nurses who took care of him throughout the years.
The Treharne family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8pm.
