Robert E. “Duke’ Regula, 69

 

Campbell:  Funeral services will be held 9:00am Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 9:30am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for Robert E. “Duke” Regula, 69, who passed away Monday morning in the Hospice House.
Robert was born May 11, 1941 in Youngstown the son of Edward and Theresa Laubert Regula.
He was a member of the church and was a Railroad Conductor for
B & O Railroad and then CSX Railroad for 37 years.
Duke loved life, people, food and good times, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family, especially his four grandsons.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Norma Jean Esposito whom he married on Nov. 16, 1972; his children, Lisa (Angelo) Missos, Robert (Kristy) Regula, Jr. and Jody (Robert) Hawkes; his grandsons, Nikitas, Robert, Michael and Christos Missos; brothers and sisters, Richard Regula, Theresa (Joseph) Mahood, Janice (Adolph) Wacht and Barbara (William) Fiorini; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward and Ronald Regula.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Hospice House in Robert’s name.
The Regula family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8pm.
