Campbell: Services will be held Saturday at 11am in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church for Robert G. Freiberg, Sr. 74 who passed away Monday afternoon in his home.
Robert was born May 5, 1936 in Bellaire the son of Godfrey R. and Anna M. Jubak Freiberg and was a life long area resident of Campbell.
He was a 1954 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a 1960 graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, Robert worked as a Pharmacist in various drug stores throughout the area.
He was a member of the church and the Greek Catholic Union #360.
His wife, the former Carol Carano whom he married on Aug. 29, 1964 passed away on Aug 19, 1988.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory a son Robert (Joanna) of Youngstown and a daughter Kerry Anne (Richard) Neely of Campbell; his grandchildren, Lukas Harvischak, Sydney Harvischak and Tristian Neely and one sister Rita M. (Gerald) Fedorek of Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a grandson Nickolas Harvischak.
The Freiberg family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.

Dear Frieberg Family…Russ and I are out of the country, and this e-mail was sent to us from Canfield family. We are so very sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. Bob was a valued friend and classmate of our Campbell Memorial Class of 1954. My wife Carole and I extend to Bob’s family our heartfelt sympathy. May God grant him eternal life in the company of his wife Carol, his parents and his grandson and may his surviving family be blessed with comfort and warm and happy memories.
