Austintown: Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 am at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell, for Rose M. Tobin, 92, who passed away Monday morning, Feb. 8 in Las Vegas, NV.
Rose was born April 19, 1917 in Leetonia the daughter of Carlo and Maria Marruca Borsani; orphaned in her high school years she came to live in Youngstown and married Paul J. Tobin in 1937.
Rose was a homemaker and worked for several years as a nurse’s aide in the maternity and pediatric wards of St. Elizabeth Hospital.  She retired in 1980 and moved to Austintown. She worked hard all her life rearing eight children.
Her last years were spent with her two daughters, Kathleen Vasko in North Jackson and Mary Ann Tobin in Las Vegas; her last years required constant care. 
Rose was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Brier Hill and later of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rev. Paul R. Tobin of Campbell, Mary Ann Tobin of Las Vegas, Patrick (Karen) of Boardman, Kathleen (Kenneth) of Saybrook Township, Thomas (Mary) of Myrtle Beach and Joseph of Los Angeles; one sister, Carole Cummings of Niles; grandchildren James of Struthers, Michael Tobin of Youngstown, Vincent Dinsio of Las Vegas, Danielle Dinsio of Austintown, Joseph and Jon Tobin of Ca. and Patrick and Jason Tobin of Youngstown; two great-grandchildren, John Paul Tobin of Struthers and Jason of Youngstown and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul who passed away in 1980; two sons, John and Daniel; 2 grandsons John Paul Tobin and Sean Paul Griffith and 2 brothers, Anthony of Arizona and John of Florida.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
The Tobin family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 2-5pm.
