Stephen Drapp, Sr. 79
Struthers: Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in St. Nicholas Byzantine Church with Fr. David Shortt officiating, for Stephen Drapp, Sr., 79 who passed away peacefully Sunday morning in Hampton Woods Nursing Home with his family by his side.
Stephen was born Nov. 6, 1930 in Campbell, the son of John and Mary Tirpack Drapp.
He was a 1949 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a machinest at Wean United, and retired after 35 years of service.
Stephen was a member of the church and did volunteer work within the church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Susan Kotasek whom he married on July 11, 1953; his children, Diane Marie Drapp of Struthers and Stephen (Vicki) Drapp, Jr of Lancaster; 2 grandaughters, Emily Elizabeth and Stephanie Nicole both of Lancaster and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hudran of Youngstown and Mrs. Dorothy Hudran of Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant grandson Nicholas; 3 brothers, John, Andrew, and Edward Drapp and 2 sisters, Lillian Drapp and Margaret Sharshan.
The Drapp family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Wednesday from 4-7pm where there will be a 4pm Panachida Service.

we will always remember the good times we shared with steve and sue at our home in cortland and the fishing days at mosquioto lake.the wonderful reasuring smile he shared and his understandisng ways he shared with us. our sincere sympathy to the drapp family. OH BOY, steve would say so often as he recalled stories gone by.may he rest in peace.
