Victor J. Esposito, 90
Youngstown: Private family services were held for Victor J. Esposito, 90, formerly of the East Side of Youngstown, who passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Omni Manor Nursing Home.
Victor was born Oct. 2, 1919 in Indiana, Pa., the son of Carl and Ann Bersatti Esposito and moved to Youngstown when he was 13.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945.
Starting at the age of 13 he became a butcher and worked at various grocery stores on the city’s east side and then worked for Bank One and Chase Bank until his retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Norma (Robert) Regula of Campbell; two sisters, Mrs. Jeannette Cannon of Richmond, Indiana and Mary Caruso of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Lisa (Angelo) Missos of North Lima, Robert Regula of Campbell and Jody (Robert) Hawkes of Kentucky and 4 great grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Archer and Ann Lesher and 7 brothers, Samuel, Joseph, Alfonso, Carl, Attley, Frank and Michael.
The Esposito family has entrusted the arrangements of their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
