Campbell: Private family services were held Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Wasko Funeral Home with Pastor William Rotar officiating for Joseph Agnesi, 78 who passed away Thursday morning in his home.
Joseph was born Aug. 18, 1931 in Youngstown, the son of Cono
(Nicholas) and Frances Vallera Agnesi and was a life long area resident.
He was a 1949 graduate of East High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War where he worked as a Radio Engineer.
Joe was a Plasterer and Mason working both as a private contractor and for the Youngstown Board of Education and retired after 30 years of service.
He was a long time member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union #179.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Ann; two children, Joseph (Stacie) of Pittsburgh and Mary Frances (Rick) Wildes of Struthers; two grandchildren, Mark and Alexandra and was expecting a new grandson soon. He is also survived by a brother Paul Agnesi of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Agnesi and sisters, Margurite Scardina, Mary Jo Credico, Clara Colucci and Angelina Pagani.
The Agnesi family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.
