Campbell…Gilberto Pagan, 63 passed away at his home on March 26, 2024.
Gilberto was born on August 4, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a son of Carlos and Elena (DeLeon) Pagan.
He worked as a carpenter and as a mechanic, he also was a musician in many bands over the years. He was most recently a lead singer for the Uptown Band.
He served in the U.S. National Guard for six years, where he was trained as a chef.
Gilberto loved music and recording music. He loved hanging out in the garage with his friends. Cars and motorcycles were some of his favorite things, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his mother Elena Pagan of Campbell, whom he spent many years taking care of;
his sons Gilberto (Elizabeth Salcedo) Pagan of Austintown, Michael Hunsbarger of Niles; his daughter Aaron (Kyle) Dalton of Warren; brothers Raymond, Angel, Jose and Jeffrey Pagan; sisters Nilda Cook, Karen Hinge and Janet Pagan; grandchildren Amory, Kai, Araya, Julian, Halee, Mia and Maddie.
Gilberto is preceded in death by his father Carlos Pagan who passed in 2002.
The Pagan family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4-6p.m. at the funeral home and a prayer service will follow at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Michael Swierz.
