POLAND- There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrow Parish at St. Matthias Church celebrated by Fr. John Jerek for Carole E. Deley, 75, who passed with peace in her heart on May 1, 2018.
Carole was born on July 15, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of John and Angelina (Krushal) Magda.
Carole was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially having sleepovers with her grandchildren. She was a fantastic baker who was known for her wonderful kolachi, clothespin cookies, and zucchini bread. Carole was a member of the church and was active with St. Matthias School while her children were attending. She also enjoyed shopping and trying her luck at the casino.
Carole leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, John Deley, whom she married October 2, 1965, her children, Lisa Deley of Columbus, John (Kathy) Deley of Mineral Ridge, her grandchildren Allegra and Mason Deley, and her siblings Linda (Robert) Davenport of Struthers and Raymond (Leonard Paskevich) Magda of Atlanta.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John Magda Jr..
The family has entrusted Carole's care to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, where there will be a 1:45 PM prayer service by the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild prior to the 2:00pm to 4:00pm calling hours on Sunday, and again one hour prior to the funeral on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations may be made in Carole's name to The Kidney Cancer Association, 9450 SW Gemini Dr. #38269, Beaverton, OR, 97008.
