Youngstown…Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Wasko Funeral Home for Deborah M. Benedis-Miller age 62, who entered into the house of the lord peacefully on Monday May 14, 2018 at Northside Medical Center.
Deb was born October 10, 1955 a daughter of Dominic Benedis Sr. and Dolores (Lumpp) Benedis-Cramer. She was a graduate of East High School.
She worked for Comprehensive Logistics a subsidiary of General Motors for 20 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
Deb was a member of the Union through GM and belonged to P.E.T.A. and the Humane Society. She volunteered at Angels for Animals, West Side Cats and was a donor to Easter Seals.
She is survived by her loving son Alvin “AJ” Miller Jr. of Youngstown and her siblings Daniel (Diane) Benedis of Youngstown, Cheryl Pondillo of Poland, Donald (Melissa) Benedis of Lowellville, David Benedis of Campbell, Kimberly Benedis-Ciccolelli of New Springfield, Christine Cramer of Poland and Kellee Cramer-Morris of Campbell. She also leaves her grandchildren Aaron (Lauren) Miller, Lyndsey Miller, Brandon Miller, Austin (Kayla) Miller, Brent (Gary) Miller; as well as 3 great-grandchildren.
She made her home with her favorite feline of 13 years Bill Marbles.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dominic Benedis Sr. and her sister Cynthia Benedis-White.
The Miller family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Saturday May 19, 2018 from 12-2pm at the funeral home, with services following at 2pm.
