Hilliard, Ohio…Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell, with the Rev. Steve Denas officiating, for Dionisia D. Zirounis (Diane). 86, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. 

Dionisia was born February 23, 1932, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Rose Themolinas Pilatos.

She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and resided in Campbell for 73 years, then moved to Columbus to spend time with her daughters for the last 13 years.

Diane was a homemaker and also worked as a Medical Technician.

She was a parishioner of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, a member of the church choir and the Philoptochos Society.

Her husband, John N. Zirounis, whom she married December 9, 1962, passed away September 17, 2004.

Diane will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her daughters, Maria (James) Gross of Hilliard and Roselyn Meckulch of Worthington; and her grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) May of Columbus, Andrew Gross of Hilliard and Carlie Meckulch of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John.

The Zirounis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday morning, December 1, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service.
