I'm a nurse at HIllman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, and took care of Gerry for several years. He was a wonderful, kind man who always had a positive attitude through all his treatments. I enjoyed getting to know him. I'll keep him and his family in my prayers.

Gerry and I were the best of friends for 20 years. I hate the fact that we didn't speak for the last three years for reasons that no longer matter. I know he is in heaven and he is no longer in pain. My condolences to Madison, "Nato", Lexi, and the rest of Gerry's family. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to those who are broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. If you were to ask Gerry his best day of his life there would actually be four: the births of his three kids followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers winning a championship. R.I.P. my friend.
