Helen M. Rauzan

Campbell………. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Apostles Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Croatian Church, with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating, for Helen Rauzan, 91, who passed away Monday evening. Helen was residing at her niece Susan's home and was surrounded by her family during her final days.

Helen was born July 18, 1927, in Campbell, the daughter of Paul and Suzie Pasko Rauzan, and was a lifelong area resident of Campbell.

She was a 1945 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and retired from General Electric after 36 years of service.

She was a member of the church; and the Campbell Croatian Lodge No. 185.

Helen enjoyed traveling with her best friend and sister, Irene, and especially enjoyed their time in Croatia. She also enjoyed kolo dancing, playing cards, and visiting friends and family.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her niece and caregiver over the last several years, Susan Ann (Dave) Mootz of Austintown; her nephew, Dan Rauzan of Boardman; six great-nieces and nephews, Julie (Judd) Rauzan-Possage, Drew (Emma) Rauzan, Andrea (Charles) Raleigh, Bryan (Jennifer) Rauzan, Vincent Nittoli and Vanessa (Craig) Walters; and six great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition she also leaves her godson George Vogrin, his former wife Lugene and their son Luke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 siblings, Irene Rauzan, John Pasko, Andy Rauzan and Paul Rauzan; and a nephew Andrew Rauzan Jr.

The Rauzan family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Thursday evening from 4 to 6pm.
