Henry Allen "Hank" Pavalko, 90

WILLOWICK - Funeral services will be held Friday, 11am, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial for Henry A. "Hank" Pavalko, 90, formerly of Struthers.  Fr. Bernard Gaeta will be officiating for Henry who passed away early Friday at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby with his great-niece Debbie Pryor and her daughter Jenny Susman by his side. He made his home with Debbie and great-great-niece Kristi Pryor for the past four years.  Friends may call from 10am to 11am at the church with Mass to follow.

Henry (Hank) was born July 21, 1928 in Ellsworth, the son of John and Katherine Mockko Pavalko.  He was a US Army veteran and served in WWII from July 1, 1946 - December 19, 1947 when honorably discharged. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies' Association.  After 30 years of service, Henry retired from Superior Beverage where he was a truck driver. 

Hank loved working on his computer.  He enjoyed polka music, playing cards, and watching MLB baseball - especially the Cleveland Indians.

His wife, the former Eleanor Sebest, whom he married April 14, 1951; passed away April 8, 2016.  

Henry leaves his children, Karen Budd of Berlin Center, Robert (Judy) Pavalko of Boardman, Terri Ann Pavalko of Colorado Springs, and Kenneth (Victoria) Pavalko of Struthers; his sister, Beverly (Dennis) Henry of North Jackson; his brother, Tom Pavalko of Salem, and deeply missed by his Aunt Nancy Racz of Austintown; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents; and his wife, Eleanor; he was preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Charles Pavalko; his brother, Robert; and his sisters’ Rosemary and Patricia.
