Joseph M. Rodriguez, 71

CAMPBELL – Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, for Joseph M. Rodriguez, 71, who passed away Tuesday evening at home.
Joseph was born Dec. 26, 1946, in Puerto Rico, the son of Severo Rodriguez and Margarita Morales.
He graduated 2nd in his class in 1965 from East High School. He was then drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Joseph was an extremely proud American and honored to have served his country during the war.
Joseph was an auto worker at General Motors Lordstown and retired from there after many years of service. He was a parishioner of the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Joseph will be remembered as a person who was deeply proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with his family.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Joseph A. Rodriguez; his daughter, Kristina Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Joseph A. Rodriguez Jr., and Annabella Rodriguez, all of Campbell; sisters Maria Correa (Jose) of Maryland, Lucy Rosa, Rose Rodriguez Cisneros, and Iris Rodriguez, all of Campbell; and his brother, John (Barbara) Rodriguez of Poland.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his older sister, Delia; his two nephews, Clint Rosa and Christopher Rodriguez; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Rodriguez Jr., and Raul Cisneros.
The Rodriguez family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
