Lillian “Pat” Mrakovich, 92
Campbell……….Lillian “Pat” Mrakovich, passed away peacefully @ 2:45 am, April 16, 2019, at Greenbriar Health Care Center in Boardman, from natural causes, at age 92, six weeks before her 93rd birthday.
Pat was born May 28, 1926 in Chester, NE, the daughter of Arthur Pieschke and Pauline Heimsoth; one of seven children; Evelyn, Justine, Lillian, Bernice, Harold, Ceola, and Sharon. Her brother Harold Pieschke resided closest to her until he relocated to Florida and passed away in August 2002.
“Pat”, as she was known by all, was a member of the Lutheran faith.
She relocated to Ohio early in her life and married a WW2 Navy veteran George “Honky” Mrakovich of Campbell, Ohio, where they resided their entire lives (7 decades) quietly on “18 Bright Avenue”. Her beloved husband of 60 years passed away Oct 2002.
She has an adopted son Georgie, who also resides in Campbell; and is also survived by Evelyn, Ceola and Sharon, who all reside on the West Coast. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews scattered around the country.
The family would like to thank the Greenbriar staff for their excellent treatment and care the past 8 months.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her; and her infectious laugh and generosity.
Pat’s family has entrusted her care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
