Mary Wansack

Calling hours will be held Monday, September18, 2017 from 4 -6  pm at Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home followed immediately be a Funeral Service celebrated by Pastor Randy Brunko for Mrs. Mary Wansack 91, who passed away on September 15, 2017.

She was born on January 19, 1926 in Circleville, Ohio, daughter of Claud and Bernice Wigginton.

Mary was an avid bridge player who played at least two times a week with her dear friends.  She worked with her husband at his dental office for a short period of time.  She was a stay at home mom for most of her life.  In her younger years she spent every Sunday night bowling with her husband in a couple’s league and bowled  with her friends during the day. 

She loved to entertain and opened her home to friends and family.  Most of her family lived out of town, so friends were very important to her.  What made her the happiest was her family, especially her grandchildren.  They were the pride and joy of her life.  She looked forward to their Sunday night dinners, regular phone calls, holidays, and any time she could spend with her family.  She was quick witted and could make anyone around her smile and laugh.

She leaves her daughter Jan (Dr. Bob) Johnson, grandchildren, Dr. Erik, Kevin and Krista.  Also her brother, Wilbur (Dot), of Columbus Ohio.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years of marriage, her daughter Barbie, brothers, James, Richard, Robert, Harold, sisters, Marvine, Kate, Betty, and Margie.

The family has entrusted the care of Mary to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that material contributions be made to Evangel Baptist Church in Mary’s memory.
