Sr. Jude was my senior English teacher at Cardinal Mooney, class of 1969. We were her last senior play. She was so full of humor and energy. I will always think of her as an inspiration as an English teacher and a theatre director, both of which I became at CMHS. May she Rest In Peace.

I was fortunate to have had Sr Mary Jude for my junior year at Cardinal Mooney in 1967. It was due to her marvelous, innovative teaching of Literature and college english that I developed a life long love of poetry and literature. I thank her for the experience. My deepest condolences to her family. I know she is in heaven reminiscing with my dear sister in law, Sister Loretta Anne.

My heart will be with all of you as you commemorate Jude’s life and acknowledge the value of her teaching and service to the people she encountered. Many of her colleagues and students remember her as a dynamic, caring, inspiring teacher, and an inventive producer. I too bid farewell to my very dear friend, as she passes on to the next phase of her productive life. May she now be embraced by the joy and peace we all long for.
