Michael W. “Storm” Sandusky, 56
Campbell…A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating, for Michael W. “Storm” Sandusky, 56, who passed away Saturday, Dec. 1st.
Mike was born June 11, 1962 in Youngstown, the son of William E. and Jennie Tomacik Sandusky-Nester.
He was a 1980 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to serve his county in the United States Marines.
Michael worked as a truck driver for Tamco and also worked security at the Palace. He was a black belt in Kung Fu and loved to cook, fish and play poker.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two brothers, Bill (Joy) Sands of Charlotte, N.C. and Scott Sandusky of Canfield; one sister, Jennifer Hlebovy of Campbell; nieces, Kara (Harn) Sands and Kristen Stewart; nephews, Gus and Anthony Hlebovy, John Scott Sands and Brandon Friend; and his loyal dog “Choppo”.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Jennie; and his step-father, Michael Nester.
The Sandusky family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 6:00 p.m., prior to the 6:00 p.m. funeral service.
