Michael L. Tsarnas, 41
Campbell…Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell, with Fr. Steve Denas and Fr. Gus Valantasis officiating, for Michael L. Tsarnas, 41, who passed away Saturday evening.
Michael was born July 10, 1977, in Canton, the son of Drosos R. and Cynthia Valantasis Tsarnas.
He was a 1996 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. After graduating, Michael continued his education while serving his country in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic and was currently enrolled in the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
Michael was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and also enjoyed helping at and being involved with St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. Michael enjoyed Greek music and dancing. He would help anyone and had a deep love for his entire family, treating everyone as if he were their brother.
Michael leaves to hold on to and cherish his memory, his parents, Drosos and Cynthia of Campbell; his son, Noah; his brother, Themistocles “Tommy” (Heather) Tsarnas of Boardman; his sister, Sevasti (Serafim) Kollias of Avon Lake; one nephew, Logan Tsarnas; three uncles, Richard (Janet) Valantasis, Nicholas (Raelyn) Tsarnas and John (Lorie) Tsarnas; and an aunt, Lillian Valantasis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Themistocles and Sevasti Tsarnas and Louis and Irene Valantasis; and an uncle, Michael Valantasis.
The Tsarnas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Friday evening from 4 to 7:00 p.m., when a Trisagion service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
