Mildred Marie Bosela, 85
Coitsville…A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave, Campbell, OH 44405, with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating, for Mildred Marie Bosela, 85, who passed away Tuesday evening at her home.
Mildred was born October 17, 1932, in Jeanette, Pa, the daughter of Walter and Emma Benic Cheplick. She was a 1950 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage. Mildred worked as a coil winder for Westinghouse, and enjoyed shopping for new dresses at the Sharon Store.
She was a longtime parishioner of St John Catholic Church in Campbell.
Mildred enjoyed cooking and baking and was most famous for her homemade apple pies and fruit cakes. She hosted numerous backyard family picnics and parties.
She loved polka dancing, especially with her husband John.
Above all, she will always be remembered by her family as a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.
Her husband, John P. Bosela, whom she married October 2, 1954; passed away Nov. 24, 2006.
Mildred will be deeply missed by her children, John P. (Minnie) Bosela, Jr., of New Castle; Ted (Chris) Bosela and Ed Bosela, all of Struthers; and Cindy (Mike) Ries of New Albany, Indiana; her six grandchildren, Stephen, Taylor, Emily, Amber, Shannon and Zoe; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Malys and Theresa Sebest, both of Campbell and Veronica Cheplick of Sharon.
Besides her parents, and her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her brothers Walter, Joe and John Cheplick; and her sister, Helen Piedle.
The Bosela family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday from 9-10:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass.
