Raymond E. Kish, 82
Campbell…Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with pastor William Rotar officiating, for Raymond E. Kish, 82, who passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, with his family by his side.
Ray was born August 3, 1936, in Youngstown, the son of Michael and Susie Szabo Kish.
He was a 1954 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a lifelong area resident.
Ray was a veteran of the US Army.
He worked as an inspector at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 31 years, retiring in 1986. Following his retirement, Ray later worked for Bargain Port, DIY, Home Warehouse and Lowes.
He was a member of the Rockview Christian Church and the American Legion Post 560.
Ray enjoyed collecting coins, stamps, spending time with his family and attending his granddaughter’s softball games.
Ray will be deeply missed by his wife, the former Mary Lou Sheely, whom he married August 5, 1972; his son, Michael Kish (Rhonda) and his granddaughter, Madison Kish, all of Austintown.
Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Tarcy and his brothers, Louis, Bill and Robert Kish.
The Kish family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Sunday from 2-5:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
