Rocco A. Yeropoli, 77

Campbell…Private family services were held Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, with Monsignor Peter Polando officiating for Rocco A. Yeropoli, 77, who passed away October 23, 2018, with his family by his side.

Rocky, as he was affectionately known, was born February 8, 1941, in Youngstown, the son of Anthony S. and Rose D. Parish Yeropoli.

He was a 1959 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a lifelong area resident. Rocky was a proud member of the US Marine Corps, having served for six years.

Rocky was employed as a Shipper mat the YS&T Company until its’ closing, then worked for Easco Aluminum, Denman Tire and Airborne Express.

He was a parishioner of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish and spent many hours volunteering for the church. For many years, Rocky was the head basketball coach at St. Joseph the Provider School and coached many championship teams.

Rocky will be deeply missed by his son, Keith of Campbell; his brother, Dr. Dave (Mari-Lee) of Champion; his former wife, Carole Pezzuto of Poland; and his beloved Siberian husky, “Ice”.

The Yeropoli family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.
