Bernadette Corona Flowers, 89

CAMPBELL…Bernadette Corona Flowers, of Campbell, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on August 10, 1937, she was the eldest daughter of Corona and Eugene LeFort.

On November 15, 1958, Bernadette married Robert L. Flowers, the love of her life. Together, they created a home filled with family, friends, laughter, and the familiar comfort of freshly brewed coffee.

Bernadette found joy in life’s simple, meaningful pleasures. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bocce, and volunteering with the church, generously sharing her time and talents. She also loved the music of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, whose songs reflected the warmth and vibrancy she brought to those around her.

She was known for her kindness and readiness to help anyone in need. Bernadette’s gentle spirit, steady presence, and generous heart left a lasting impression on her family, friends, neighbors, and church community.

Bernadette was preceded in death by her cherished son, Kevin Flowers; her parents, Corona and Eugene LeFort; and her dear sister, Rita Guevremont.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert L. Flowers; her children, Michele Testa of Warren, Ohio, Robert E. Flowers (Jhuliza) of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, and Robin Protain of Youngstown, Ohio; as well as 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought joy and pride to her life.

The Flowers family has entrusted Bernadette’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio where calling hours will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 10am -12noon followed by a funeral service at noon.

Bernadette will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio.

Bernadette will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her beautiful smile, strong faith, thoughtful handmade gifts, and countless quiet acts of care. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and in the love she shared so freely.
