David Anthony, 65

Salem... David Anthony passed away Thursday, January 11th at Northside Hospital with his children by his side.

David was born October 20, 1952, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of William and Annie Ray Anthony.

He was a 1970 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School.

David retired from the City of Girard Water Department.

David was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Salem.

He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and always enjoyed watching them play every Sunday.

David was very proud of his children and grandchildren, and above all, their many spectacular accomplishments.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Christopher (Niki) Anthony of Canfield, James (Christina) Anthony of New York, and Jessica Robinson of Hubbard; and his brother, Bill Anthony of Piqua, Ohio.

Besides his parents; David was preceded in death, and is now rejoined with his lifelong companion, Karen Hippely.

In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made in David's name to the Wasko Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.

The Anthony family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.

A private Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 27th at St. Anthony's Church in Youngstown.
