Duane John VanSuch, 77

STRUTHERS…Duane John VanSuch, 77 passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 2,2026.

Duane was born February 20, 1949 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of John and Helen (Rusnak) VanSuch.

He was a 1967 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a life long resident of the Youngtown area.

Duane married the love of his life, the former Anna M. Matesevac on July 20, 1974 and they shared almost 52 wonderful years of marriage.

Duane worked for General Motors as an assembly line worker for 39 years.

He was of the Byzantine Catholic faith.

Duane enjoyed golfing, swimming, shooting pool, family board games, chess, and spending time with his family and dog.

Duane will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Anna; his children, Jennifer (Eric) Hicks of Kentucky and Gregg (Rhonda) VanSuch of Stow, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyra and Asher VanSuch; brothers, David (Sandy) VanSuch and John (Barbara) VanSuch along with his sister, Denise (Dominic) Cutrone.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant siblings.

The VanSuch family has entrusted Duane's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. There will be no services at this time.
