Joanne Minchin, 66

Struthers…Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, for Joanne Minchin, 66, who passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at her home.

Joanne was born June 1, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Martha (Wolfe) Minchin.

She was a 1970 graduate of Struthers High School and a life-long area resident of the Struthers community.

Joanne worked as a secretary for many years for various agencies and companies and most recently worked at Sarco Industries.

Joanne was of the Catholic faith.

She was an avid bowler, often times bowling seven nights a week.  Joanne loved her rescue dogs and above all adored her nieces and nephews.

Joanne will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her mother, Martha Minchin of Struthers; her siblings, twin sister, Jean (Bob) Rohrbaugh of Hubbard; Lynda Shurilla, Judy Minchin, and Bill (Nora) Minchin all of Struthers; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The Minchin family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, from 11-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service.
