Julie J. Brozman, 84
CAMPBELL…Julie J. Brozman, 84 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Julie was born August 5, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Tressa) Walkosak.
She was a1958 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Julie was a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area.
Julie worked in the kitchen at the former Woodside Receiving Hospital and then later became a fulltime homemaker.
She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Campbell, and was a former member of The Red Hat Society.
Julie loved cooking, baking and playing bingo.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her children, Stephen Gocala of Canfield, Mark (Peggy) Gocala of Canfield, and Lisa (John) Rotz of Campbell, Beth (Sam) Toppi of Poland, Chris Brozman of Youngstown, and Julie Wolfe of Poland; her grandchildren, Max (Chris) Gocola-Nguyen, Megan (Jaret) Spratt, Tyler Rotz, Haylie (Devon Richardson) Rotz, Jiovanna (Kevin) Eckenrod, Marisa, Michael and Christian Toppi, Ashley (Andy) Hollis; her great-grandchildren, Emilia Spratt, Henry Eckenrod, and Allison and Avery Hollis.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Stephen Gocala; her second husband, William Brozman, whom she married September 25, 1975; her brother, Edward Walkosak; her sisters, Eleanor Keish, Maryann Varady, and Gerty Tabus.
The family has entrusted Julie's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Michael Byzantine Church in Campbell from 9-10:30am followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30am officiated by the Very Rev. Kevin Marks.
Julie's family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Hampton Woods for all their love, care and support that was given to their mom. Especially to Julie's nurse, Tim for his kindness, care and compassion and will always hold a special place in the family's heart.
