Margaret K. Horvath, 95

Campbell…Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Apostles Parish at St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Rudjak officiating, for Margaret K. Horvath, 95, who passed away Friday evening.

Margaret was born December 16, 1921, in Campbell, the daughter of George and Rose Gődri Kalaman.  She was a proud graduate of Campbell Memorial High School's class of 1939.  She was a lifelong area resident.

Margaret worked for 4 years at the General Electric Plant in Youngstown and was a homemaker.

She was a parishioner of St. Stephen of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, where she was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the Sodality Hungarian Ladies' Club and the Silver and Gold Senior Citizens' Group.

Margaret was also a member of the Campbell Senior Citizens'.  She was very active in taking part with any event or program at the church or with her children.

Her husband, John F. Horvath, whom she married April 11, 1942; passed away November 16, 2003.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her sons, John F. Jr. (Teresa) Horvath of Gordonville, TX, James S. Horvath of Campbell, and David G. (Anna Marie) Horvath, also of Campbell; Deborah S. Horvath (whom she loved as a daughter); six grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Eric, Jacquelyn, Stephen and David; and six great-grandchildren, Anna Grace, Jordan, Kellen, Reilly, Brynn and John Christian.

Besides her parents; and her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and John Kalaman; and her sister, Anna Kalaman.

Margaret's family would like to especially thank Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care they provided.

The Horvath family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Wednesday from 4-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers and should friends desire, donations may be made in Margaret's name to Southern Care Hospice (5401 Ashley Circle, Suite E, Austintown, OH  44515).
