Margaret Mraz, 94

Campbell…….A funeral mass will be held this Friday, February 23rd at 11am , at St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell, for Marge Mraz.  She passed away in December at Highland Cottage Hospice House in Petoskey, Michigan.

Marge (Stransky) was born January 26, 1923, in Farrell, Pennsylvania to Slovak immigrant parents and was the last of eight children.  All have preceded her in death.  She married Joseph Mraz of Campbell and they shared 52 years of marriage, travels and wonderful family gatherings until his death in 2009.

Marge was a devoted parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church.  She and Joe had two daughters: Monica (Mike) Doctor of Petoskey, Michigan and Missy (Tom) Robbins of Park City, Utah.  She adored her grandchildren: Dane (Jeanine) and Jill Doctor, and Molly, Keaton and Grey Robbins as well as her dear side-kick, Perky the cat.

Marge blessedly lived at her home for 60 years until a hip fracture and resulting stroke this past October.  Heaven gained a true coffee lover, bingo player and polka dancer!

The family would like to thank the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and Hospice of the Valley for the care given to their Mom.
