Mary G. Kapsulis, 79

Campbell…Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday morning at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, with Fr. Steve Denas officiating for, Mary G. Kapsulis, 79, who passed away Sat., Dec. 16th in her home.

Mary was born, Oct. 17, 1938 in Leros, Greece, the daughter of Pericles and Niki Maillis Stamos.

She worked for 14 years on the assembly line at General Motors and enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.

She was a member of the church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George M., whom she married May 11, 1954; her daughter, Nicki Kapsulis; her son, Perry Kapsulis; grandchildren, Rena (Mike) Koutsounadis and George (Lauren) Mazoros; great-granddaughters, Mia and Maria; sisters, Irene Pantelakis, Kathy Radack and Athena (Drossos) Tiliakos; brothers, Stamati (Diane) Stamos and Peter (Mara) Stamos; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Michael Kapsulis; and a brother Elias Stamos.

The Kapsulis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home and again on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10am at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
