Mary Ann Slanina, 84

Campbell…Mary Ann Slanina, 84 passed away peacefully at Humility House on Monday, July 1, 2024.

Mary Ann was born on March 14, 1940 in Campbell, Ohio, a daughter of John and Kathryn Sedlacko Slanina.

She was a graduate of Ursuline High School. She worked for General Electric in the Bulb Assembly Division where she retired from after 40 years of service.

Mary Ann was a lifelong member of Christ the Good Shepherd at St. John Catholic Church. She was a member of its Altar and Rosary Society and the Infant Guild. She loved the church and its people with all her heart.

Mary Ann had a great kindness, generosity and a special sense of humor.

She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her 4 Godchildren and many cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, MaryAnn is preceded in death by her brothers, Emery J. Slanina who passed away May 12, 1972 and George P. Slanina who passed away May 10, 2011.

The Slanina Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends and family Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 9-10 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, 159 Reed Ave. in Campbell followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Thomas Kraszewski.
